How Pills, Politics, and a Godless Culture Are Numbing Our Minds and Breaking Our Spirit

Something’s wrong with the world, and we all feel it.

There’s a pill for everything now—anxiety, restlessness, sadness, even boredom. And if the first pill doesn’t work, don’t worry, there’s another one to treat the side effects. We’ve gone from healing to masking symptoms, and now entire generations are walking around numb, foggy, and detached from reality.

We’re overmedicated. But that’s just the beginning.

Look around—people can’t even drive right anymore. Road rage, confusion, zero courtesy. Public behavior has gotten nastier. Crime is up. People act entitled, aggressive, and emotionally unstable. And I have to ask... is it just the culture? Or are we looking at the side effects of a deeper, chemical and spiritual breakdown?

I believe overmedication plays a part. So does screen addiction, godlessness, broken families, and a rejection of basic truth. And whether people want to admit it or not—we didn’t see young healthy athletes collapsing before 2020 the way we do now. We’re told it’s “always happened.” But I have eyes. I have a brain. I remember.

I also can’t ignore the fact that many who scream the loudest—those on the far left, pushing chaos, violence, and intolerance in the name of “progress”—are also more likely to be on antidepressants and anxiety meds. That’s not opinion—that's backed by studies. Meanwhile, those who lean on faith, family, and tradition report more peace and purpose.

Coincidence? I don’t think so.

We’ve replaced God with government, faith with pharmaceuticals, and wisdom with ideology. And now people are angry, broken, and lost.

You can’t medicate away a spiritual crisis. And no amount of therapy-speak or activism will fill the God-shaped hole in a person’s soul.

But there’s hope.

It starts with fathers praying in front of their kids. It starts with families returning to church. It starts with truth being spoken, even when it’s unpopular. I’ve made mistakes—big ones—but I’m back in the fight. I’m trying to lead my family in faith. And I believe more people are waking up to what’s really going on.

This is spiritual warfare. But we’re not powerless.

Truth has a name. And His name is Jesus Christ.

I’m not here to argue—I’m here to witness. If you’ve felt like something is deeply off in our world... you’re not alone. And you’re not crazy.

Let’s stop numbing the pain and start healing for real.

What do you see happening around you? Are people waking up, or getting more lost? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Let's talk about it.
