He Knows My Name — And Yours Too

When the world forgets you, the Shepherd never does.

The Shepherd isn’t distant. He’s calling. Do you hear Him?
There are days when the world gets loud — real loud.
When the labels others gave you feel permanent.
When your identity gets buried under the pressure to perform, conform, or just survive.
It’s in those moments I come back to one simple truth:
The Shepherd knows my name.
The Good Shepherd Doesn't Forget
Jesus says in John 10:14:
“I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me.”
That’s not abstract theology — that’s personal.
He’s not talking about a crowd. He’s talking about you.
He knows your name.
Knows what keeps you up at night.
Knows the weight you’re carrying right now — even the stuff you don’t tell anyone.
And still… He calls you.
The World Forgets. The Shepherd Doesn't.
The culture we live in? It’s transactional.
You’re only valuable if you’re useful.
Only visible if you’re viral.
Only loved if you fit the script.
But the Shepherd doesn’t work like that.
He left ninety-nine sheep to find the one that wandered (Luke 15:4).
That means if you’re lost — if you’re drowning — you’re not an afterthought.
You’re the mission.
From Wandering to Witness
I wrote a song about this.
It’s called “The Shepherd Knows My Name.”
Not because I wanted another single out, but because this one hit home for me.
There were seasons I felt invisible. Misunderstood. Written off.
But God never forgot me. And the same goes for you.
The song’s a blend of Christian rap and rock — gritty verses, anthemic chorus.
It’s a battle cry for the lost, the bruised, and the ones who think they’ve screwed it all up.

He’s Still Calling
Maybe today you needed the reminder.
That you’re not just a username.
Not just a label.
Not just a failure.
You are known.
You are pursued.
And your name is still on His lips.
Don’t ignore the call.
The Shepherd is still calling His own — even now.
