When Activism Turns Into Arson: Why David Hogg Is Burning Bridges, Not Building Them

The Democratic Party is finally waking up to the fact that their little media darling isn't the asset they thought he was. Hogg, who somehow went from "gun control activist" to "Democratic Party leader," is now being told to either support the party or keep running his little PAC that openly plans to primary Democrat incumbents. Imagine the entitlement it takes to be a vice chair of the DNC while at the same time trying to tear down sitting Democrats because they aren't radical enough for you.
Now the DNC is proposing a rule that says if you're an officer, you have to stay neutral in primaries. Makes sense. Leadership means stability, not blowing up your own team from the inside. But instead of recognizing that, Hogg is playing the victim, whining that he's just "holding the party accountable."
No, David. You aren't holding anyone accountable. You're an opportunist who realized that media outrage and virtue signaling can get you power. You don't care about building anything real — only about tearing down anything that doesn't bow to your so-called "vision." You talk about inspiring young voters, but all you really do is inspire division, resentment, and self-righteous tantrums.
I hope he chooses his PAC, honestly. Let him fade into irrelevance where he belongs. The last thing this country needs is another self-important activist masquerading as a leader. If you want to change things, build something — don't just set fire to everything and call it "progress."
Ride off into the abyss, David. America will be better off.
